Wildlife, whether in the Smokies or beyond, is what initially drew me to photography. It doesn't matter if it's the smallest of salamanders to the largest bear, each one carries its own story and moment. Each time out, you never know what you may come across. It's always a moment to slow down and take it all in. Deer and Elk are always favorites, Keep your eyes open! It's not always about the bears!
